These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Briefly, operated by eyay. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Briefly connects sources you provide (RSS feeds, URLs, forwarded emails) and uses AI to generate personalized intelligence briefings. Features and pricing may change; we will notify you of material changes where required.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and keep your email address current.

Acceptable use

• Only add sources and content you have the right to access and process.
• Do not use Briefly to distribute spam, malware, or unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, access other users' data, or abuse the API.
• Do not scrape or reverse-engineer the service beyond normal personal use.

AI-generated content

Briefings are generated by AI and may contain errors or omissions. They are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, financial, legal, or medical advice. You are responsible for verifying important claims before acting on them.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service. Briefly's brand, software, and design remain our property.

Publishing and sharing

When you publish a briefing, you choose to make selected content publicly accessible via a share link. You can unpublish at any time. Do not publish content you are not authorized to share.

Payment and plans

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the pricing shown at checkout, monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the billing portal, and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. New paid subscriptions include a one-time 30-day free trial — a payment method is required and the first charge occurs when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Plan changes are prorated. Refunds are handled per applicable law, including EU consumer withdrawal rights.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, eyay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Briefly.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
